Abstract

Jumlah program Entrepreneurship Education (EE) yang dirancang untuk mendorong Opportunity Identification (OI) sebagai keterampilan kewirausahaan utama telah berkembang pesat selama beberapa dekade terakhir. Namun, program EE ini sebagian besar tidak memiliki kerangka teori yang kuat untuk membantu pendidik dan peneliti memilih metode pengajaran yang sejalan dengan pandangan filosofis mereka. Studi ini mengusulkan kerangka kerja berbasis teori untuk mengembangkan OI dengan menjembatani bidang kewirausahaan dan pendidikan, dengan mempertimbangkan asumsi ontologis dan epistemologis yang ada di kedua bidang tersebut. Kerangka yang diusulkan mencakup perspektif filosofis yang berbeda tentang peluang kewirausahaan dan strategi untuk mengidentifikasi peluang, serta teori pembelajaran dan pendekatan pedagogis yang paling relevan untuk memajukan OI. Kerangka tersebut menyarankan bahwa untuk mengembangkan program EE yang dapat secara efektif meningkatkan kinerja masing-masing OI, perspektif yang berbeda tentang peluang dan pembelajaran yang muncul harus disatukan dan diintegrasikan ke dalam program EE yang koheren dan konstruktif. Artikel ini diakhiri dengan implikasi untuk teori dan praktek di bidang pendidikan kewirausahaan.
